Kam Fai's passion
for Cantonese opera is well reflected in his two-decade's love of this art form. He is an all-rounder. Not only is he able
to play different roles in opera, he is also adept at opera make-up and costume design. Moreover, he helps in stage management,
script moderation and designing singing styles. His first major performance after having left the stage for several years
was in the opera The purple Hairpin at the Kreta Ayer People's Theatre in 2002.
